B.A., Grand Canyon University; M.A., Hardin-Simmons University, Ph.D., Texas A&M University.
Dr. Baker assumed the presidency after serving eight years as George Fox’s Provost. As an historian his focus was the American Civil War and Reconstruction. Previously he served on the faculty of Wheaton College, John Brown University and Grand Canyon University, and prior to coming to George Fox in 1999, served as Senior Vice President at Grand Canyon.
